In the modern age, our gardens have become such important spaces, providing much-needed respite away from the hurly-burly of today’s fast-paced world. It’s true what they say that “gardens make us feel better”. They beneficially impact on our mental health and provide opportunities for social interaction. More and more people are looking to their gardens as an extra outdoor living space to enjoy with their friends and family. Gardens also provide somewhere to go for peace and tranquillity, where you can spend time in thoughtful reflection and find a true sense of wellbeing.

If this strikes a chord with you, then why not get in touch to discover how you can get the most from your garden?

What Inspires Me?

Trees, plants, nature…. and creating beautiful outdoor spaces for people to enjoy.

What can I say, I love transforming gardens! When I say ‘transforming’, it doesn’t have to be grand in scale. To me garden transformation can mean anything that helps you to get more from your outdoor space, whether that be a completely new design and layout, or planting a beautiful specimen tree, maybe reviving an area with a new planting arrangement, or perhaps simply some essential maintenance that’s required to tame your garden and make it a pleasing and usable place where you want to spend time.

Why does garden transformation appeal to me so much? I think it’s to do with seeing something that I’ve created on the drawing board actually coming to life…. and also the reaction of my clients when they see their new garden really taking shape. Previously in product engineering, I was developing early-stage technologies that might take 10 years or more to reach the market. So, now I find it very rewarding indeed to be working on gardens and being able to deliver such stunning end results in a relatively short time-span.

Leaving the world of engineering behind, I retrained in Horticulture and Garden Design, and have also worked in landscaping and garden maintenance for a number of years. Making the transition from engineering to transforming gardens has been a wonderful and fulfilling journey, which continues with each and every new garden opportunity that comes along.

How can I help you to transform your garden?
