Seasonal planting and succession planting

Too many gardens become dull and ‘shut down’ as soon as summer is over. I like to make sure your garden looks great all year round by choosing plants that provide interest and structure when the summer blooms have finished. Even as the light fades in the autumn and the evenings start to draw in, some plants can still give so much pleasure, with their late flowering and autumnal leaf colour changes. And I feel it’s particularly important to have some garden interest during winter, especially close to the house where you can enjoy it without having to brave the cold!
